What Is A Handleless Oven?
A handleless oven is exactly as it sounds. It is a built-in oven that doesn’t have a handle on the outside to open its door. Instead, a handleless oven uses a touch button to electronically open the oven door. To close it, you simply shut it manually as you would any other oven door.
The Miele handleless oven models door drops down (like most standard ovens) whereas the Gaggenau oven door is hinged on either the left or right and swings open at the touch of a button. And, if for any reason the touch button isn’t working, or you simply want to, you can manually open the doors via a small finger groove in the doors.
Why Would You Want A Handleless Oven?
Handleless ovens have been designed to blend in seamlessly with any contemporary kitchen. They are especially desirable for true handleless kitchen designs and offer a beautifully streamlined look.
There is also a definite element of ‘cool’ surrounding them, not only in their technology and appearance but also in the fact that they are currently premium ‘high-end’ products.

Can You Get A Handleless Combination Microwave Oven?
Yes. Both Miele and Gaggenau offer handleless combination microwave ovens. They look and operate very similarly to their full-sized oven counterparts. You can check them out via the links below:
Can You Get A Handleless Double Oven?
No. After lots of research and all my years as a kitchen designer, I’ve yet to come across a handleless double oven.
However, instead of a double oven, you could have a handleless combination microwave oven and a handleless main oven on top of one another to create the look and function of a handleless double oven.
Personally, I think this is a better option anyway. As it gives you more cooking capacity and additional functions.
